FCHRM® Cohort 4 Successfully Concludes, Prepares for Cohort 5 in October

The Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Management (FCHRM)® Cohort 4 successfully ran across four Saturdays in September 2025, equipping participants with a strong foundation in HR knowledge and practice. The program covered key areas of modern HRM, including Introduction to HRM and SHRM, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Performance Management, Total Rewards and the Philippine Labor Law and Compliance.

Each session was led by seasoned industry professionals who brought both depth and practical experience to the discussion. Mr. Joven Reyla opened the program with insights on HRM, SHRM and Talent Acquisition, drawing from his extensive background in organizational development across multiple industries. Mr. Edrian Clemente guided the participants through Learning & Development  and OD, sharing his decade-long expertise as a corporate trainer. On the third session, Mr. John Marvin Ong unpacked the essential of Performance Management and Total Rewards, reflecting on his nearly two decades of HR leadership across local and multinational organizations. The cohort concluded with Atty. Cohort 4 was also notable for its diverse participants, which included professionals from the public sector. Among them were representatives from Local Government Units in Dinagat Islands, Calanasan (Apayao), and Nagcarlan, as well as a participant from the Philippine Statistics Authority. This mix of private and government professionals enriched the discussions and highlighted the wide applicability of HR practices across different sectors.

Looking ahead, Cohort 5 is set to begin this October 4, continuing on October 11, 18, and 25, 2025. The program continues to serve as a vital stepping stone for HR practitioners and aspiring professionals, preparing them to advance confidently in their careers while contributing meaningfully to their organizations and communities.
