Empowering the Future Workforce: Inside HREAP GMM 2026

The Human Resource Educators Association of the Philippines (HREAP) successfully held its General Membership Meeting 2026 last March 20, at the F1 Hotel, BGC, Taguig City. The gathering served as a landmark event for HR leaders and educators, emphasizing the power of collaboration and celebrating the collective milestones achieved in shaping the future of the Filipino workforce.

Honored to be joined by Mr. Jesus Gregorio “Nonong” Noriega, Head of Organizational Effectiveness & Culture at Cignal TV and MediaQuest, for a compelling discussion on bridging the gap between academia and the professional world. His session, “From Classroom to Workplace: Recalibrating HR Education for Industry Competitiveness,” provided invaluable insights into aligning educational frameworks with the evolving demands of the modern workforce. Grateful for his expertise in helping everyone redefine how should prepare the next generation of HR practitioners for global excellence.

Also honored to have Ms. Paula Ferrer Cheng, Head of Research and Development at Mind You Mental Health Systems, Inc., share her expertise on a critical pillars of modern organizational success: “Mental Health in the Workplace: Supporting Employee Well-being in Today’s Workforce.” Her session highlighted actionable strategies for fostering a supportive and psychologically safe environment, ensuring that employee well-being remains at the heart of HR’s mission in an ever-changing professional landscape. Appreciating her commitment to have the crowd a foundation in mental health awareness and building more resilient workplaces.

In a powerful display of excellence, the event also hosted The Outstanding Human Resource Students of the Philippines (TOHRS) 2024-2025 and the Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) Top Performing School (TPS) awarding ceremonies.
