FCHRM® Cohort 14 Strengthens HR Knowledge and Professional Growth

The Philippine HR Institute (PHRI)™ proudly celebrates the successful completion of the Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Management (FCHRM)® Cohort 14, bringing together 28 participants from diverse roles, industries, and career stages.

The cohort represented a wide range of professional backgrounds, including HR practitioners, administrative professionals, technical support specialists, account executives, project assistants, organizational leaders, and graduating students. Their diverse experiences contributed to meaningful discussions and knowledge-sharing throughout the program.

The four-session learning journey featured experienced HR practitioners and industry professionals who guided participants through essential areas of human resource management.

Ms. Mariliza Arceo led the first session, introducing participants to the fundamentals of Human Resource Management (HRM) and Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Talent Acquisition. The session provided a strong foundation in understanding the evolving role of HR and its contribution to organizational effectiveness.

The second session was facilitated by Mr. Angelbert Hernandez, who guided participants through key concepts and practices relevant to Learning & Development (L&D) and Organizational Development (OD). Participants gained insights into employee development and organizational initiatives that support a productive and engaged workforce.

For the third session, Mr. Marvin Ong discussed Performance Management and Total Rewards, highlighting approaches to employee performance, recognition, compensation, and reward systems that help align individual contributions with organizational objectives.

The program concluded with Atty. Eleazar Ypilan, who led the session on Philippine Labor Law and Compliance. Participants gained valuable perspectives on labor standards, workplace compliance, employee relations, and the importance of responsible HR practices.

Throughout the program, the participants demonstrated commitment, active engagement, and a willingness to learn from both the lecturers and one another. The diversity of the cohort further enriched the learning experience, allowing participants to connect HR principles with real-world workplace experiences across different industries.

PHRI™ congratulates the FCHRM® Cohort 14 on this significant achievement. May the knowledge, perspectives, and professional connections gained through the program support their continued growth and enable them to contribute meaningfully to their organizations and the HR profession.

As PHRI™ continues to promote excellence in human resource management, it remains committed to providing relevant and practical learning opportunities for professionals seeking to strengthen their HR competencies.
