The Philippine HR Institute (PHRI™) proudly celebrates the successful completion of the Foundation Certification in Human Resources Management (FCHRM)® Cohort 15, this achievement marks another milestone as we produce another batch of competent, ethical, and future-ready HR Professionals.
This cohort comprises 17 participants across all different facets of industries, among which are HR practitioners, government workers, private sector, management leaders, and graduating students for which the different experiences made the discussion during the session full of interesting anecdotes about their work place and a wide range of knowledgeable ideas.
Four HR and industry professionals lead the sessions bringing with them their experience and insights in the field of Human Resource.
The learning program started with Ms. Mariliza Arceo who facilitated the first session with an introduction to the fundamentals of Human Resource Management (HRM) and Strategic Human Resource Management. The participants were provided with a strong foundation in the ever growing role of strategic HR in the topic of organizational goals and its effectiveness.
The second session was facilitated by Mr. Angelbert Hernandez as he guided all the participants through Learning & Development (LD) and Organizational Development (OD). Throughout the session the participants learned more about concepts and functions that can deliver significant value to the organization.
For the third session it was facilitated by Dr. Markrinello Sarical and he discussed the Performance Management and Total Rewards and how the performance of employees, their recognition toward their work, adequate compensations, and the reward systems that helps an organization with their objectives that aligns with their employees individual contributions.
The four session long journey concluded with Atty. Eleazar Ypilan on the topic of Philippine Labor Law and Compliance. The participants gained valuable insights about labor standards, compliance in the workplace, the relations of the employees, and the importance of legal and ethical HR practices.
Throughout the program, all the participants demonstrated the determination of continuous learning and the need to learn from the experiences and knowledge of the facilitators and with one another. The diversity of the cohort allowed all the participants to connect with their own and other’s real-life experience and use the newly learned HR principles in the session.
