
The Philippine HR Institute (PHRI™) proudly announces the successful completion of the Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Management (FCHRM®) Cohort 9 on March 28, 2026, after four consecutive Saturdays of structured learning sessions held on March 7, 14, 21, and 28. This milestone underscores PHRI’s continuing mission to equip HR practitioners and aspiring professionals with the knowledge, skills, and values essential to thrive in today’s evolving workplace.
Cohort 9 brought together HR practitioners, supervisors, career shifters, and fresh graduates from diverse organizations nationwide. Participants engaged in a comprehensive and practice‑oriented program facilitated by respected industry experts:
Mr. Joven Reyla opened the program with Introduction to HRM & SHRM and Talent Acquisition, emphasizing the strategic role of HR in organizational sustainability and the importance of effective recruitment and selection systems.
Dr. Markrinello M. Sarical led the session on Learning & Development and Organizational Development, sharing practical frameworks for impactful learning interventions, employee engagement, and building high‑performance cultures.
Mr. John Marvin Ong facilitated Performance Management and Total Rewards, providing participants with actionable insights on appraisal systems, compensation structures, and reward strategies that balance accountability with motivation.
Atty. Giulia Ingrid Calub concluded the program with Philippine Labor Law and Compliance, offering clear guidance on labor policies, compliance standards, and employee relations—an essential foundation for HR professionals navigating complex workplace realities.
