The Philippine HR Institute (PHRI)™ proudly announces the successful completion of the Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Management (FCHRM)® Cohort 12. The program brought together 26 participants from the government, private sector, and academe, reaffirming PHRI’s commitment to advancing HR excellence through quality professional education and lifelong learning.
Representing a diverse range of roles including HR practitioners, managers, educators, finance and payroll professionals, administrative personnel, and organizational leaders, the cohort cultivated a collaborative learning environment where participants exchanged ideas, shared workplace experiences, and strengthened their understanding of contemporary human resource management.
The program commenced with Ms. Mariliza Arceo, who facilitated the sessions on Introduction to HRM & SHRM and Talent Acquisition. Participants explored the strategic role of human resource management in organizational success while gaining practical insights into workforce planning, recruitment, and talent acquisition strategies.
The second learning session was led by Mr. Edrian Clemente, who discussed Learning & Development and Organizational Development. Through interactive discussions, participants examined effective approaches to employee capability development, organizational culture, change management, and strategies for building high-performing workplaces.
For the third session, Mr. Marvin Ong delivered comprehensive discussions on Performance Management and Total Rewards. The session provided practical frameworks for performance evaluation, employee recognition, compensation strategies, and reward systems that promote employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
The program concluded with Atty. Eleazar Ypilan, who facilitated the session on Philippine Labor Law and Compliance. Participants gained a deeper appreciation of labor standards, statutory obligations, employee relations, and legal compliance, reinforcing the importance of responsible and ethical HR practice.
Throughout the program, Cohort 12 demonstrated professionalism, active participation, and a genuine commitment to continuous learning. The exchange of diverse perspectives and real-world experiences enriched each session, reflecting the value of collaborative learning in strengthening the HR profession.
