The Philippine HR Institute (PHRI™) proudly celebrates the successful completion of the Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Management (FCHRM®) Cohort 11 on May 30, 2026, following four Saturdays of comprehensive learning sessions held on May 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2026. The program continues to advance PHRI’s mission of developing competent, ethical, and future-ready HR professionals equipped to navigate the evolving world of work.
Cohort 11 brought together individuals from a wide range of professional backgrounds, including human resource practitioners, managers, supervisors, administrative officers, educators, payroll specialists, operations professionals, and development officers. This diversity enriched discussions and fostered meaningful exchanges of experiences and perspectives throughout the program.
The learning journey began with Mr. Joven Reyla’s sessions on Introduction to HRM & SHRM and Talent Acquisition, where attendees explored the strategic role of HR in organizational success and gained insights into effective recruitment and workforce planning practices.
The second Saturday featured Mr. Edrian Clemente’s discussions on Learning & Development and Organizational Development. Participants examined approaches to employee capability building, engagement, culture development, and organizational effectiveness in today’s dynamic workplace environment.
Dr. Markrinello Sarical led the third session on Performance Management and Total Rewards, providing practical frameworks for measuring employee performance, designing compensation structures, and implementing reward systems that support organizational goals and employee motivation.
The program concluded with Atty. Robert Arpa’s session on Philippine Labor Law and Compliance. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of labor standards, legal obligations, compliance requirements, and employee relations practices essential to maintaining fair and compliant workplaces.
Throughout the four-week program, the cohort demonstrated strong commitment, active engagement, and a genuine passion for continuous learning. Their enthusiasm and participation reflect the growing importance of ongoing HR education and professional development in today’s rapidly changing work environment.
