World HR Summit in Manila Tackles the Future of Work

Manila, Philippines — The future of the workplace took center stage as human resource professionals from across sectors gathered at The Heritage Hotel Manila on May 23, 2025, for the World HR Summit.

Organized by TraiCon Events, themed “Workplaces: Cultivating Talent and Shaping Futures” focused on reimagining the world of work by putting people, purpose, and progress at the heart of every conversation.

The event convened a diverse group of HR leaders, digital innovators, and workplace strategists from the Philippines and abroad. Keynotes, fireside chats, and expert-led panels covered critical topics such as AI-powered hiring, hybrid work cultures, mental wellness, inclusive leadership, and workforce upskilling.

As a key media partner, the Philippine HR Institute (PHRI) supported the event’s mission of fostering global dialogue and collaboration. PHRI’s chairman, Dr. Joseph Masangkay Lardizabal, was also recognized at the summit as one of the “Top 25 Human Resource Leaders to Watch in 2025.” The award celebrates his forward-thinking approach to modern workplace challenges and his commitment to people development and ethical leadership.

For many local practitioners, the summit offered a rare opportunity to engage with global experts without traveling abroad. As the Philippines continues to adapt to evolving workplace demands, the event provided a vital platform for shared learning, innovation, and connection.

Ultimately, the World HR Summit was more than a conference; it was a powerful reminder of the impact HR professionals can make when guided by purpose, supported by community, and open to change.
